This livery was supposed to be the next released by Corgi before the company was taken over by Hornby. Corgi had released a Baltimore, Philadelphia, Fort Collins (Colorado), Steinway Lines (NYC), and Chicago Surface Lines versions before the series foundered. Tony Tieuli’s Sheffield and Glasgow cars are made from Alphagraphix card kits; his London HR2 is made from an A & J van Riemskyk sheet metal clockwork tram from the 1940s - the top deck represents a new E/1 style that replaced the original war damaged one This car is another Alphagraphix card kit from Tony Tieuli Tony Tieuli’s Brisbane, Australia FM (four motor) car #488. It is made from a urethane 1/43.5 scale kit by Greg King (Transit Classics) in Melbourne, Australia. Greg supplies the kit, Black Beetle trucks with proper wheel size, and all the necessary decals for numbering the car and city council lettering. Authentic adverts are also available separately. Tony Tieuli’s No. 3321 is a model of Boston's picture window PCC class of 1951 made by St. Petersburg Tram Collection. It runs on Terry Russell Trams PCC trucks (bogies). Tony Tieuli’s Boston type 5 cars 5800 and 5654 were made from kits available in the 1960's. They represent a car type that numbered 471 in Boston, USA, and which ran until 1959. This photo was taken at the Roslindale Club in front of a waiting shed made by Charlie Pitts, a fellow club member. It is a faithful representation of the original at the Arborway in Jamaica Plain (a section of the City of Boston). The model of 55 Broadway, however, survived and is now in the hands of the London Transport Museum, complete with full interior detailing. Mark would often make up John Howe’s garage kits for his good friend Roger Shaw who altered and provided the correct destination and garage codes for his EFE buses. Various grades of scatter material were then added over the top stuck down with dilute PVA glue. Once this was dry a coarser grade was added and stuck down by spraying with extra hold hair spray, the cheaper the stickier!!!!. The road is fine grit wet and dry paper, again from the pound shop. The retaining wall is stone-embossed plasticard mounted on balsa wood. Chris's photographic diorama is 17 76FIRE001 is a Bedford TK with Carmichael bodywork 1/76 Oxford Diecast 76FIRE001, the first release of their 4mm Fire Engine. The white that remains settles into raised detail and gives a faded effect. This a repainted Oxford Diecast RM, done to represent a battered example that is overdue a visit to Aldenham works! It has been painted in matt red and then brushed over in very dilute matt white which has been then wiped off with kitchen roll. A panel between the decks has been replaced and is still in undercoat and has obviously been done without replacing the advert. Bristol VR from Chris Wilcock The pavement is 1/12th scale brick-embossed plasticard mounted on balsa wood and painted grey. The embankment was made by placing cardboard formers every couple of inches to the desired contour, filled with shredded paper and then covered with mod-roc plaster bandage. Once dry a coat of all purpose filler (pound shop) was smoothed over the top.
